St. Pete Bathroom Mold Problem
The water seeped into the caulk line of the bathtub and the tile wall. Water also splashed onto the lip of the soap shelf. The water eventually started to rot the cellulose support base and mold also took over. The solution that our SERVPRO technicians utilized was the removal of the mold infested areas and replacement with a new substrate. This demolition was possible since the condo owner had a large supply of extra wall tiles. When open, we completely dried out the damaged area before installing the new materials. We then sprayed an antimicrobial product to protect against mold and other organisms. Our construction manager completed the rebuild "Like it never even happened."
